Part two Iwavva| God’s gift to me

On one shore in memory lies the day

I lay flat upon a crimson rug

tired of the life lived

tired of the endless questions

tired of fear

and cried every drop of blood within me

asking for a new beginning

seeking an unmistakable change

pleading for an encounter

and Mercy heard me

Night fell on a day forever branded upon my heart

This was the day I walked another red rug

wearing a blood stained garment

but this time

I arose wearing one that was as white as snow

for Love Himself had translated me

I walked back knowing I was saved

but the question still remained

Now that I am saved, what’s next?
